I am an assistant professor in the School of Finance at the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE), located in Beijing, China. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
My research interests include factor models, empirical asset pricing, financial econometrics, and economic forecasting. More recently, I have become particularly interested in how advances in AI and machine learning can enhance financial modeling, prediction, and data-driven decision-making.
I publish under my Chinese name, Xiangyu Zhang (/ʃjɑːŋ juː ʒɑːŋ/), and I also go by Anthony.
